Happy New Year

On behalf of Jan and I, we would like to wish you all a very Happy New year, lets hope we win more than we loose, and those we loose we do in good grace.

Regards

Jeff and Jan

Lamb open

Ian and I travelled down to Burridge on the Sunday after Christmas for the Lamb Open.
The weather was freezing all day, making the piste rock hard in the morning and late afternoon, around midmorning to early afternoon it was wet and sticky.
We didn't get to any of the finals, but it was nice to be in the open air all day.
Our best score was a win of 13 - 2 and our worst score was a loss of 13 - 10. Could have been a really good day if we had had a little piece of luck now and then.

Weekend in France

Just a few shots of the weekend, it was mostly rain and wind. Then it was ice and fog, but we all enjoyed the trip.

Christmas games and Lunch

It was cold but lovely and bright.
The organisers where dressed in very colourful costumes.
Over 30 of our club turned out for the Christmas Lunch and a fun mornings boule
As we arrive we were given either a Snowman or a Reindeer badge. This meant all the points scored went to our own teams.
First game was a standard game, this was followed by coffee and Christmas cake made once again by Christine.
The second game was played with our other hands this proved that some players can point and shoot with either hand

Then the last two games where pointing and shooting competitions.
At the end it was the Snowmen who just scraped home the winners by 16 games to 8..

A very well cooked and presents Christmas lunch followed, Thanks to everyone at the Pub for a great feast.

Just after lunch, Santa came and presented everyone with Christmas presents.

Thanks to everyone who helped organise and run a most successful day.
Can I have some more photo's, I didn't get many good ones...Please
