Wasps win last game in SCPA 6 a side

The Wasps played The Wanderers this afternoon in the final game of the season.
We needed to win the game 3 - 2 to draw with Hampshire Rose or better to take second place.

WE WON 4 -1 and are now in 2nd place and should go up to Div 3 next year as long as there are enough teams entering..

Well done team a great win.

Results of the North Downs League Mellee

What a wonderful days weather, warm sunshine all day making an enjoyable event evern better.

There were 28 players this year down from last year but there was two other competitions on the same day.

It did allow us all to play doubles games all day.

The results were.

Sunday the 14th is the North Downs league mellee get you names down for a grand sundays playing..

Visitors from Jersey

Saturday was a lovely warm autumn day, just right to welcome our guests from Jersey.
Elaine, Fred, Beryl and Ken came over for a long weekend playing with us and having lunch on Saturday, followed by them taking part in the Adur Autumn doubles on Sunday..

North Downs League Finals

The finals where played at Kirdford on September 30th.
The Vikings were unable to get a team for the playoffs for 3rd and 4th place so Racing club Racer took third place.
The final was between Bordon and Oxshott Novices.
Bordon played extreamly well and beat Oxshott with out playing all of the rounds.
