Bastille Day results

What a superb day we had with everyone dressing up to some degree and especially starting the day with a nice glass of Pernod.

The event was mainly triples, but the numbers meant that we had to have a couple of doubles anyway. The draw was made and we kept the same teams throughout.

The winner of the best dressed was to Sue

The friendliest team was George, Frank and Enid.

To make things a little tricky for me the top two teams had the same number or wins and also the same points difference.
So I made them play again and delayed lunch until the decider was completed

The Runners Up Ray and Benny (they keep popping up all over the place)

Congratulations to the winners Jean, Muriel and Tony

The motley crew.

Then there was lunch in the garden

ABC Wasps take a pasting from Bordon (ND League)

Wednesday evening The Wasps headed to Bordon for our away game.
It was a cold and damp evening and we felt even lower after the game.
Bordon played very well to win 6 -3. If only was our by-word..two of the games could or even should have gone our way but on the night it wasn't to be.
Well done Bordon, the food and company was superb as usual

The Wasps
Jeff, Joan, Ian, Sonia, Peter and Chris.

Bordon
